What you are actually paying for
A chauffeur booking is not a taxi with a nicer car. The fare covers a vehicle taken off the road for you, a professional driver assigned to your day, the fuel, the tolls, the parking and — the part people underestimate — the waiting. A taxi meter charges you for time and distance as they happen. A fixed chauffeur fare is agreed before the journey and does not move afterwards, which means the risk of a bad traffic day sits with us rather than with you.
That difference is most of the price gap between the two. It is also why comparing a chauffeur fare with a metered fare on a good day will always flatter the meter, and comparing it on a bad day will always flatter the chauffeur.

Every figure above is a starting fare for the vehicle, fixed and all-inclusive: tolls, parking, fuel and waiting are inside it. The exact price for your date and addresses is confirmed on WhatsApp before you book. Read from the same records the booking pages use, so this table cannot fall behind them.
What moves the number
Five things, in roughly the order they matter:
- Vehicle class. A sedan for two people costs less than a seven-seat van for a family with six suitcases. Booking the class that fits is the cheapest decision you will make.
- Distance, or hours. A route has a fixed fare; a day with no fixed shape is priced by the hour, and the hourly rate improves once you book four hours or more.
- Waiting. Included, and generous — 60 minutes free at the airport, 15 minutes at every other pickup — but a car held for three hours outside a museum is an hourly booking, not a transfer.
- Where you are going. Anything outside Abu Dhabi carries the road time back as well. That is already inside our fixed intercity fares, which is why Al Ain costs more than a run across the city.
- How far ahead you book. Not a surcharge — the price does not rise at the last minute — but availability is real. Event weekends genuinely sell out.
What does not move the number: the time of day, the weather, a public holiday, or how busy the app economy happens to be that evening. There is no surge pricing on a fixed fare, and a 4 am airport run costs the same as a 4 pm one.
When a chauffeur is not the right answer
If you are one person going four kilometres in the middle of the afternoon, a taxi is cheaper and we will tell you so. Abu Dhabi's regular taxis are cheap, plentiful and metered, and there is no case for booking a chauffeur to cross a district.
The maths changes when any of these are true: you are arriving on a flight with luggage and want someone waiting inside the terminal; you are moving as a group; you need the same car all day; you are travelling between emirates; or the arrival matters — a client, a wedding, a board visit — and a car that turns up clean, on time and expected is part of the job.

The exact number depends on the class and the two addresses, and you get it on WhatsApp in about a minute — before you commit to anything, with the tolls and the waiting already inside it. If a cheaper option would serve you better, that is what the reply will say.
