How far is Yas Island from Abu Dhabi airport?
About 20 km and 15 to 20 minutes from Zayed International (AUH) — the island is closer to the terminal than the city centre is. The figures on this page measure from Downtown, which is the longer of the two runs. How much is a transfer to Yas Island?

Yas Island is a short drive and a long day. Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, the circuit, the arena and a row of hotels sit inside a few square kilometres, which means the driving is easy and the parking is not — especially on an event night, when the island fills and the car parks fill with it. Event evenings — a concert at Etihad Arena, a race weekend, a school holiday at the theme parks — move the drive time more than the distance suggests, so we set the pickup from the doors-open time you give us rather than from the average. And if the plan is the island all day and back at night, say so when you book: booking both legs at once is cheaper than two separate transfers, and the same chauffeur usually does both.

Which places on Yas Island do you drive to?

Will the car wait while we are inside?
A one-way transfer includes 15 minutes of free waiting at the pickup, which covers a slow hotel checkout rather than a day at a theme park. If you want the car and the chauffeur held while you are inside — bags in the boot, somewhere to sit between the park and dinner — book by the hour instead and we will tell you which of the two is cheaper for your day.
Can you collect us again at the end of the day?
Yes, and booking both legs together is cheaper than arranging them separately. Give us a rough finishing time when you book; if the day runs long, message the same WhatsApp thread and we move the pickup rather than leaving you to find a car outside a closing park.
How far ahead should I book?
A day ahead is comfortable. Same-day is usually fine outside event weekends, but a race weekend or an arena night books the island out early — on those dates the honest answer is often "book now or take the earlier slot", and we will say which.
