The Abu Dhabi city tour is a full day of 8 to 10 hours in a private chauffeur-driven vehicle, from AED 900 for the car rather than per person. It starts at your hotel or address in Abu Dhabi and covers Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in the morning, Louvre Abu Dhabi and Emirates Palace in the afternoon, and the Corniche at the end of the day. The vehicle, the chauffeur, fuel, tolls, parking and the waiting at every stop are inside the price; entrance tickets to the Louvre are not, and entry to the mosque is free.

How long is the tour?
Eight to ten hours door to door. It is a window rather than a single number because it depends on how long you stay inside each place — the Louvre alone can absorb two hours — and on the traffic between them. We agree the pickup time with you the day before, and a morning start is normal because the mosque is calmest early.
Are entrance tickets included?
No. The price covers the vehicle, the chauffeur, fuel, tolls, parking and all the waiting; admission to Louvre Abu Dhabi is bought by you, online in advance or at the door. Entry to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and to the public areas of Emirates Palace is free. We do not resell tickets and we add no booking fee — what we do is set you down at the right entrance and hold the car while you are inside.
Where does the tour start and finish?
In Abu Dhabi, at any address you name — your hotel, a private residence, a villa on Saadiyat or Yas Island — and it ends back at that same address. Virtus holds an Abu Dhabi ITC licence, which authorises us to collect passengers in Abu Dhabi, so we cannot pick you up in Dubai for this tour. If you are staying in Dubai we will say so straight away rather than take the booking.
The day
Abu Dhabi City Tour with a Virtus chauffeur
Everything worth seeing in Abu Dhabi is within half an hour of everything else, which sounds like it makes a city tour easy and in practice makes it fiddly: four landmarks, four car parks, four sets of visiting hours and a dress code at the first one. The coach version solves that by giving everyone the same forty minutes at each stop. This version solves it by giving you the car, the chauffeur and the day, and letting you decide where the time goes.
The order is deliberate. The mosque first, early, while it is calm and the light is soft; the Louvre in the middle of the day, because it is the one stop that is better indoors at noon; Emirates Palace after that, for the gardens and a coffee under the dome; and the Corniche at the end, when the skyline starts to light up and the sea breeze finally arrives. Between them your chauffeur handles the parts that make the self-driven version tiring: which car park has space, which gate is the visitor entrance, and where to stand so you are not walking in the heat with shopping.
A few things worth knowing before you book. The price is for the vehicle for the day, so two people and six people pay the same figure — choose the class by the space you want. Entrance to the Louvre is a ticket you buy; entry to the mosque is free but has a dress code and its own visiting hours, which change on Fridays and through Ramadan and which we check for your date. And if the day should end up somewhere else — a beach club, dinner on Saadiyat, the airport — say so in the morning: as long as it starts and ends in Abu Dhabi, the shape of the day is yours.

Three parts to the day rather than a timetable to the minute. Visiting hours, prayer times and the road decide the exact clock, and we would rather be honest about that than print times we cannot hold.
Morning
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, early
We collect you at your Abu Dhabi address and start at the mosque, which is at its best and its quietest in the first hours. Entry is free and there is a dress code at the visitor gate — we go through it with you when we confirm. Your chauffeur parks and waits for as long as you are inside; nobody is counting the minutes.
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
The landmark the day opens with, and the one stop that has a dress code: arms and legs covered, loose clothing, and a headscarf for women. The mosque sets its own visiting hours and they change on Fridays and through Ramadan, so we confirm the current times with you while we plan the day.
Afternoon
Louvre Abu Dhabi, then Emirates Palace
Over the bridge to Saadiyat for Louvre Abu Dhabi, the one stop that is better done in the middle of the day, with the ticket bought by you online or at the door. Then back across for Emirates Palace: the dome, the gardens and a coffee if you want one, in the part of the afternoon when nobody wants to be outside for long.
Louvre Abu Dhabi
The domed museum on Saadiyat Island, and the stop where an hour is never quite enough. Choose it over Qasr Al Watan if your group would rather have art than architecture.

Emirates Palace
The palace hotel at the western end of the Corniche, and a stop you walk into rather than queue for: the lobby, the dome and the gardens are open to visitors and cost nothing. Whatever you order in the café is yours to settle.

The day finishes along the Corniche — eight kilometres of seafront with the skyline on one side and the Gulf on the other — and then home to the address we collected you from. Stop as often as you like on the way: the last hour is the one people photograph, and there is no coach waiting to leave.

Entrance tickets
Admission to Burj Khalifa, Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Watan is bought by you, online in advance or at the door. We do not resell tickets and we add no booking fee — your chauffeur drops you at the right entrance and holds the car while you go in.
Licensed guiding
Your chauffeur is a professional ITC-licensed driver, not a licensed tourist guide. They know the roads, the parking and which door to use, and they will answer what they can — but they do not deliver commentary inside the monuments. Bring your own guide and we will carry them as one of your passengers.
Meals and anything you buy
Lunch, coffee and whatever you pick up along the way are yours. There is no set lunch stop on this day: tell your chauffeur when you are hungry, name a restaurant or ask for one near the next stop, and the car waits while you eat.

Can we change the stops?
Yes. The four above are our recommendation after driving them many times, not a fixed programme: swap Qasr Al Watan in for the Louvre, add Wahat Al Karama or the Founder's Memorial, drop a stop you are not interested in, or spend the extra hour somewhere you love. Tell the chauffeur in the car and the rest of the day is re-planned around it.
What should I wear to the Grand Mosque?
Loose clothing covering the arms and the legs, for men and women, and a headscarf covering the hair for women. Tight or transparent fabric is not accepted and there is a dress check at the visitor entrance. For the rest of the day normal comfortable clothes are fine — and shoes you can walk in, because the Louvre is bigger than it looks from the car park.
Is there a tour guide with us?
No, and we would rather say it plainly. This is a chauffeur-driven car: your driver is an ITC-licensed professional who knows the roads, the parking, the right entrances and when each place is busiest, and will answer what they can. They are not a licensed tourist guide and do not give commentary inside the monuments. Bring your own guide and we will carry them as one of your passengers at no extra charge.
How many people can come?
One to seven, depending on the vehicle: up to three in an executive sedan, four in a luxury SUV and seven in a luxury van with room for everyone's bags. Since the price is for the vehicle and not per seat, a family of five in one van pays what a couple in the same van pays.
What does AED 900 include?
The entry price for the whole vehicle for the whole day: the chauffeur, fuel, tolls, parking at every stop, chilled water on board and the waiting time while you are inside each place. It is not per person. The final figure follows the vehicle class and the date, and it is confirmed on WhatsApp before anything is booked. What it never contains is a surprise — no meter, no fuel surcharge and no charge for the hours the car spends waiting.
Where do we eat?
Wherever you like. There is no set lunch stop and no restaurant we are paid to take you to. Most groups eat near the Louvre or at Emirates Palace because that is where the day naturally pauses; tell your chauffeur when you are hungry and the car waits while you eat. Meals are not in the price.
How far ahead should I book?
Two or three days is comfortable, and a week is better in the winter season when the good days go early. We need the date, the number of passengers and your pickup address in Abu Dhabi to confirm a fixed price. If you want a timed Louvre slot, buy it as soon as you have the date and send us the time — we shape the afternoon around it.
