Quick answers
The questions people ask first
Short, complete answers to the things that decide the booking. The longer list is further down the page.
How long does it take to get to Louvre Abu Dhabi?
About 15 to 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi Downtown or the Corniche, for roughly 12 km over the Sheikh Khalifa bridge onto Saadiyat. From Yas Island or the airport it is longer; send your exact starting address and we confirm the drive time for that one rather than quoting an average.
How much is a transfer to Saadiyat or the Louvre?
From AED 120 one way for the vehicle, fixed before you travel, with tolls, parking and fuel already inside it. The exact figure follows the vehicle class and your pickup address, and it does not change with traffic or the time of day.
Do you include museum tickets?
No. We drive you to the visitor entrance and nothing else is added to the fare; admission to Louvre Abu Dhabi is bought from the museum, online in advance or at the door. We do not resell tickets and we charge no booking fee for them — buying your own is both cheaper and the only way to pick your own time slot.
The route
Louvre Abu Dhabi & Saadiyat transfer with a Virtus chauffeur
The museum is a short run from almost anywhere in the city, which is exactly why the journey is worth booking rather than improvising. Saadiyat is a building site of cultural projects with a road layout that changes as they open, the museum car park is a walk from the entrance in August heat, and the taxi rank outside is busiest at closing time — which is when everyone wants one at once.
One fixed fare for the car, agreed before you travel, tolls and parking inside it. Pickup is door to door anywhere in Abu Dhabi, and the drop-off is the visitor entrance rather than the car park. The same fare covers the rest of the island: the Saadiyat Cultural District, the beach resorts, the golf club and the residential districts behind them.
Worth knowing before you book: the museum closes one day a week and its late openings change through the year, so check the day you are going and we will build the pickup around it. If the plan is the museum and then dinner, or the museum and then the Corniche, an hourly booking usually costs less than two transfers and the car stays with you between them.

More questions about this booking
The details that come up once the price is agreed.
Can the car wait while we go round the museum?
A one-way transfer includes 15 minutes of free waiting at the pickup, not the two or three hours a visit takes. For a visit with the car held outside, book by the hour: you keep the same vehicle and chauffeur, your things stay in the boot, and there is no second booking to arrange when you come out.
Do you drive to the Saadiyat beach hotels as well?
Yes, at the same fare: the resorts, the beach club, the golf club and the residential areas are all on the same island and the same run. Name the hotel when you book and the chauffeur sets you down at its entrance.
How far ahead should I book?
A few hours is usually enough for this run, and a day ahead guarantees the class you want. If you are booking around a timed museum ticket, send us the slot and we set the pickup from it rather than from the opening hours.
